OK, well it’s not quite a tour in the sense of the Rolling Stones or Justin Beiber, but over the next few weeks I shall be pootling to London, Norwich and Bristol for a series of gin-soaked soirees in celebration of the launch of my new book. I very much hope to see you there. Firstly, the events are *free*, secondly they involve (also free) Boxer Gin, thirdly, you can buy a shiny new copy of A Short Ride in the Jungle. How better could you imagine to spend an evening?
The tour starts off next Monday, 7 April, at the world’s oldest and most prestigious bookstore, Stanfords, in London’s Covent Garden. There shall be a brief talk from me, some signing of books, some drinking of Boxer Gin and some general chinwagging about adventure. If you would like to come please email dean @ summersdale.com.
Next I shall be heading East to the wilds of Norfolk, my home county, where a similar evening of gin, signing and chit chat shall take place at the wonderful Bookhive, one the country’s greatest independent bookstores, on Thursday 10 April. Again, if you’d like to come along please email Dean @ summersdale.com.
Finally, the moped powered juggernaut shall lurch into Bristol, for the final stop on this countrywide tour. This shall be taking place at Stanfords’ Bristol branch on Tuesday 15 April. Again – email Dean if you’d like to come along.
See you soon!
